[Class 23] [Also in Group XXXV] The spindle 1 of a centrifugal spinning- pot for artificial silk is supported in the hollow shaft 2 of an electric motor 3, the stator 4 of which is carried by the lower part 6 of the casing. The upper part or cap 5 of the casing is detachablv connected to the lower part by a circumferential spring 8 which normally rests in a groove in the annular bead 7 of the upper casing part 5 and locks it to the lower part by engagement with the shoulder 10 of the part 6. The spring is released by pressing its projecting ends. Specifications 261,849 and 307,523, [both in Class 23], are referred to.
