Class 126 An oil burning stove comprises a fuel reservoir, a casing mounted on the reservoir, oil burners and chimneys mounted on the reservoir within the casing, a hot plate comprising a perforated casting mounted within the top of the casing and a perforated cover which may be freely mounted above the hot plate when the stove is being used as a space heater. As shown, Fig. 2, in an oil stove of oval transverse section, a hot plate 6 supported on the casing 1 has an aperture 10 overlying each burner 3 and partially surrounded by flanges 30 and further apertures (not shown) along each longer side. A detachable perforated cover 12 has a deflector 17 above each aperture and a central brace 16. A baffle 18 extends between the burners and is integral with a reflector 19. Secondary combustion air enters the stove between the reservoir 2 and the casing 1. Guards 21 and 25 protect the burners and reservoir respectively.
