512,685. Radiator-stoves. STOVES. Ltd., and RYDER, S. E. A. March 10, 1938, No. 7461. [Class 126] A gas-heater comprises a gas pipe 11 with wideflame burners arranged along it, an inverted trough-shaped baffle 17 above it, and a shrouding consisting of one or more curved cover-plates 30, 31, 32, 33 at least partly enclosing the baffle and extending downwardly to a level below that of the top of the gas pipe. The baffle plate and shrouding run lengthwise of the gas pipe, and, with the latter, are supported in recesses in end plates 13 joined by tie rods 21. The cover-plates may be perforated or spaced apart as shown, to let hot gases escape. The gas-pipe, baffle, and cover-plates may be bent, curved, or straight.
