Abstract
889,496. Brassieres. INTERNATIONAL LATEX CORPORATION. Aug. 18, 1959 [March 13, 1959], No. 28165/59. Class 141 In a brassiere, an inelastic supporting panel 26, 27 is provided on the outside of the lower part of each cup and is attached along its bottom and side edges to the cup but unattached along the major part of its top arcuate edge. The ends of the top edge are secured in the horizontal median seam 24, 25 of the cup. Elastic strips 18, 19 are arranged in a shallow inverted V-shape at the lower front edge of the brassiere and are attached in stretched condition to the panels 26, 27 respectively so as to gather the bottom edge of each panel. The panel comprises a woven layer with flocking 26c adhered to its inner face.
