Abstract

1,031,498. Brassieres. SARONG Inc. Oct. 19, 1964 [March 30, 1964], No. 42632/64. Heading A3V. A brassiere has, extending beneath the cups 10 and 12 and connected to dorsal bands 18 and 20, overlapping panel pieces 32 and 34 made in part of fabric having minimum and maximum stretch values that differ by less than 10%. The panel pieces 32, 34 have elastic inserts 36, 38 and extend freely beneath one cup and are connected to the bottom of the opposite cup. The fabric of the panel pieces comprises two layers of cotton cloth bonded by a layer of polyvinyl chloride or other adhesive.
