Abstract

781,743. Brassieres. CALIFORNIA FORMS, Inc. Oct. 25, 1955 [Dec. 15, 1954], No. 30433/55. Class 141. A brassiere 10 is provided within each cup with sponge rubber padding 25 formed with an upwardly projecting part-spherical portion 31 at the lower part thereof to raise the breasts. The padding is arranged between layers 23, 24 of cloth and is anchored by stitching extending along its upper edge between the points Y. Each cup includes an arcuate metal stiffener 19 and is stitched to fabric front portions 16 which are connected to elastic rear portions 11 and provided with stiffeners 14.
