Abstract

882,674. Grabs. WEYHAUSEN, H. Oct. 28, 1959, No. 36612/59. Class 78 (4). A grab 17 may be rotated about a vertical axis by an hydraulic ram 10, 11 which turns a bolt 7 carrying the grab through a crank 8 and a pin 9. The piston-rod 11 of the hydraulic ram is attached to the pin 9 whilst the cylinder 10 is fixed to an extension of the fork 5. Pivotal connections are provided between a boom 1 and a plate 3, and between the plate 3 and the fork 5.
