Abstract

878,834. Rotary-scythe mowers. MORRISON MOWER S Ltd. July 7, 1958 [July 8 1957], No. 21724/58. Class 6(3). In a rotary-scythe mower, each ground-wheel 10 is mounted on a arm 5, 7 pivoted on the mower frame 1 to swing in a vertical plane and links 22, 24 connect the arms to a a bell-crank 19 pivoted on the frame, the movement of the bell-crank being effected by a control-handle 25 mounted on the frame so as to be movable rotationally but not, axially, the handle having a screw- and-nut connection 26, 27 with the bell-crank. The front wheels are mounted on an axle 9 joining the arms 7, 8 the axle having a lever 23 connected to the link 24. The rear wheels are mounted on the upper apices 15 of triangular plates 5, 6 whose lower apices are interconnected by a tube 11.
