Abstract

Alpha and alpha-beta titanium alloys which can be heated in the beta-phase field without loss of ductility have the following percentage composition by weight: B 0.005-0.5; Mo up to 15 or Cu up to 2.5 or Zr up to 10 or V up to 20 or Al up to 10 or Mn up to 12 or Al up to 10 in combination with Mn up to 12; Ti and impurities, the remainder. According to the Provisional Specification the alloy may also include Sn up to 11 and Si up to 0.25.
