Abstract

Filaments, yarns and other shaped articles such as films consisting mainly of a crystalline poly-a -olefine, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, are dyed by applying an aqueous solution of a basic dyestuff suitable for dyeing polyacrylonitrile such as those dyestuffs known under the Registered Trade Marks "Acronol," "Deorlene" and "Sevron." Examples are given. Specification 810,023 is referred to.
