857,007. Rotary engines or compressors. VICKERS - ARMSTRONGS (AIRCRAFT) Ltd. April 7, 1959 [April 28, 1958], No. 13444/58. Class 110 (2). The working chamber comprises pockets J formed by a band of flexible material E carried on rollers H and mounted in a rotor D1, D2, the axial lengths of the pockets varying between one port F (inlet for a motor) and outlet ports G (Fig. 2, not shown). As a compressor, air or other gas enters the ports G and is delivered through the port F by the pressure of the rollers acting on the material E, which may be formed of rubber and fabric.
