Abstract

853,924. Bags. ROBINSON Ltd., E. S. & A. Jan. 22, 1957 [Jan. 31, 1956], No. 3074/56. Class 94(2). A bag made at least in part of flexible film material has a tear tape 4 enclosed between the overlapping portions of the longitudinal seam, the outer portion and the tape being cut to provide a tab 11 for gripping the tape. The adhesive or other sealing area may be extended round the cut out portion to prevent leakage. The .tab may be midway of a bag wall as shown or at one end. The bag may consist of a paper panel 13 joined to transparent film material along two side seams.
