851,333. Earth - excavating apparatus. VERSCHURE & CO.'S SCHEEPWERF EN MACHINENFABRIEK N. V. Feb. 17, 1959, No. 5563/59. Class 68(1). [Also in Group XXXIII] In a suction and/or expulsion dredger having a suction or expulsion tube comprising two ports 4, 6 elastically connected with each other (at 5), each port is suspended by a cable 8, 9 led over a pulley 11, 12 carried by the piston rod 13a of a single hydraulic jack. The cylinder 13 of the jack is filled with oil kept under pressure by compressed air in an air drum 15. From the pulleys 11, 12 the cables run to hoist drums 16, 17.
