Abstract

607,663. Hydraulic accumulators. YASSEMIDES, M. Feb. 11, 1946, No. 4162. [Class 69 (ii)] A cylinder 1 is fitted to the top of a well 2 and has a piston 9 with a rod 8 supporting loading weights 10. The pressure of the water in the well raises the piston 9 which may be drawn off through a pipe 12 fitted with a cock 14. Springs may be used to load the piston instead of weights.
