671,712. Hydraulic shock absborbers. PREVINQUIERES, C.M.L.L.B. DE C. DE. Jan. 19, 1950 [Jan. 19, 1949], No. 1441/50. Class 108(iii) A telescopic hydraulic shock absorber has a chamber T of variable volume bounded by an elastic wall E, mounted outside the cylinder 1 at the end thereof remote from the piston rod 6. Flow from the cylinder 1 into the chamber T is controlled by a spring-loaded valve F. Flow in the reverse direction is controlled by a lightly loaded valve formed by a dutch metal disc K. Specification 686,723 is referred to.
