851,049. Cooling cylinders. ROLLSROYCE Ltd. May 30, 1957 [May 30, 1956], No. 16800/56. Class 7(2). Liquid coolant pumped via a gallery 19 and ducts 21 to a head jacket 22 in which it is maintained at high pressure, e.g. 20 pounds per square inch, by restricted outlets 26 to a manifold 24 or a gallery integral with the head, is circulated sluggishly round wet liners 12 via inlet and outlet bores 27, 30. The Provisional Specification refers to replacing the outlets 26 by a cooling system thermostat.
