Abstract

1,221,421. Cooling cylinder heads and fuel injectors. DAVEY PAXMAN & CO Ltd. Feb.16, 1968 [March 6, 1967], No. 10446/67. Heading F1B. Cooling water enters a space 2, Fig.4, flows downwardly around an injector 5 and outwardly through radial passages 12...15, Fig.2 into passages 8...11, from which it flows to a chamber 25 connected to the outlet. The injector is situated between inlet and exhaust ports 16...19, the associated inlet and exhaust passages being cooled by the water flowing to the chamber 25.
