Abstract

846,852. Reciprocating pumps; syringes. GRONVIK, U. May 7, 1959 [May 16, 1958], No. 15634/59. Classes 102(1) and 102(2). A high pressure grease pump 13 is fed with grease from a carton 28 by a plunger plate 25 which engages the slidable end 29 of the carton. The plate 25 is connected to a rod 24 which is slidable in a tube 21, a spring 23 engaging the ends of the rod and tube. The tube 21 is slidable through a removable end cover 12 and is engaged by a spring loaded locking plate 26. An off-set spring 30 punches the end 29 back into the carton when the end cover 12 is released.
