A corn dressing or similar appliance comprises a backing strip 1 with an adhesive under-surface 3, a pad 6 of natural or synthetic foam material having an aperture 7, to accommodate the corn, and an inner pad 11 of napped material. The nap may be on either side of the fabric and the pad may be medicated.
