841,265. Electromagnetic clutches. ZAHNRADFABRIK FRIEDRICHSHAFEN A.G. Jan. 10, 1957 [Feb. 3, 1956; June 1, 1956], No. 1004/57. Class 35. In a magnet body 1, for an electromagnetic clutch, having an annular recess in which the excitation coil is embedded in sealing compound, the axially extending walls 2 and 3 of the recess are to secure the compound and hence the coil. The compound is preferably hard - setting and the grooves4and 5 extend peripherally in an undulating or zig-zag manner and preferably intersect to form a network.
