Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the loss of magnetism and stabilize the coupling torque, by forming the circumferential portion of an armature by a nonmagnetical elastic element.
CONSTITUTION: An annular hole 22 is formed in a middle portion of the armature 19, in order to separate the magnetism of the inner portion of the armature from the magnetism of the outer portion of the armature 19, and further the rubber element 23 is provided in the annular hole 22, and the inner peripheral portion 20 of the armature 19 is combined with the outer peripheral portion 21 in one body by means of adhesive bond. Consequently, the magnetic flux generated in an excitation coil flows to a rotor 7, without any leakage. By this constitution, the coupling torque can be stabilized free from the influence of wearing and heat strain.
