Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the response of the valve by having a spool with the diameter ratio of its stem to land above 0.7 and making the spool hollow.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow spool has a land (diameter D) and a stem (diameter d) on its outside diameter and controls the hydraulic oil while its inside diameter consists of a through hole having an inside diameter d' and larger diameter holes at its both ends thereby reducing the weight of the spool, the ratio d/D being held above 0.7. A permanent magnet 2 has a annular yoke 1 on its one end and a center pole piece 3 on its another end, the outside diameter of said center piece 3 head being concentric to the inside diameter of the yoke 1 and fitted together with small distance air gap in between to form a magnetic circuit to form strong magnetic field radially in said air gap. A drive coil 5 receives the electro magnetic force in axial direction which is conveyed to a bobbin 4 to become a driving force of the spool 9 to deform a rubber member 6 compression or tension balancing it with its reaction force.
