Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure as well as to decrease the necessary space by using the material featuring a lower permeability than the coil core material for the antimagnetic material which encloses partially the coil core or by lowering the magnetic resistance of the antimagnetic plate less than that of the coil core. CONSTITUTION:Antimagnetic plate 8 provided only on the side surface of coil 4 is made of the material featuring a higher magnetic permeability than coil core 3. For example, the ordinary coil core uses the 45%-Ni permalloy, and thus the 78%-Ni permalloy is used for plate 8. Thus the magnetic flux first flows into plate 8 and passes through it when the magnetic flux caused by the external magnetic field is applied as shown by arrows. And then the magnetic flux flows into core 3 after plate 8 is saturated magnetically. As a result, the antimagnetic performance can be increased for the converter and against the external magnetic field by the amount equivalent to that of the period during which the magnetic flux flows into plate 8 to give it saturation.
