[Also in Groups XXIV, XXXIV and XXXV] The pole structure of an electromagnetic clutch or brake, comprising concentric radially-spaced pole-rings 25, 26 integral with angularly - spaced radial spokes 29, is either pressed into shape (Fig. 6) from a blank (Fig. 8, not shown) which is stamped from a sheet of magnetic iron, or cast and machined to shape (Figs. 9 and 10, not shown). Reference has been directed by the Comproller to Specification 792,974.
