725,549. Friction brakes. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. Dec. 22, 1953 [Sept. 21, 1953], No. 35576/53. Class 103 (1). Brake friction elements 10, 11 are attached to their mounting plates 2, 9 by means of coil springs 15 fitting into aligned counterbores 16 and 17, 18 in the elements and plates respectively. Although shown applied to a disc brake, the invention is not restricted to that type of brake.
