Abstract

1,079,045. Electro-mechanical transducers. INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH PRODUCTS Inc. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 29, 1963; March 17, 1964], No. 1237/67. Divided out of 1,079,044. Heading H4J. In a transducer such as shown in Fig. 2 of Specification 1,079,044 the armature is E- shaped, has three parallel legs lying generally in a common plane and has a base flange which interconnects the three legs. The base flange is bent into a plane approximately at rightangles to the common plane. The two outer legs are secured between two permanent magnets and the inner leg is vibratable between the magnets and is surrounded by a coil.
