840,960. Reservoir pens. SHEAFFER PEN CO., W. A. Oct. 16, 1956 [Sept. 11, 1956(2)], No. 8115/59. Divided out of 840,936. Drawings to Specification. Class 146(3). A fountain pen comprises a body assembly having a barrel portion and an open front end, an ink reservoir contained in the barrel portion, a writing element extending forwards from the reservoir and a tube concentric with the writing element and forming with a wall of the element a capillary passage for the flow of ink from the reservoir to the writing tip, a section of the body assembly being movable axially relative to the barrel portion between two positions in one of which the writing element and tube are located within the body assembly and in the other of which the writing element and tube extend through the open front end in a writing position. The construction is identical with that described in Specification 840,936.
