Abstract
831,470. Automatic bobbin changing in change box looms. ANGLO FABRICS CO Inc. Jan. 25, 1957 [May 23, 1956], No. 2807/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 142(2) In a loom having drop boxes at both ends and a cop feeler and bobbin magazine at one end, the drop box at the magazine end has three open-bottomed cells through which a bobbin ejected from the top cell can fall. Picking sequences are described employing three and four shuttles, in which the two lower cells at .the magazine end are kept empty to enable a bobbin to be changed in the top cell by omitting to pick a shuttle at predetermined intervals; two-colour pick-and-pick weaving using two shuttles for each colour, with no missed picks, is also described. U.S.A. Specification 2,333,904 is referred to.
