830,190. Curtain walls. BAINBRIDGE BROS. (ENGINEERS) Ltd. Aug. 13, 1958 [Aug 26, 1957], No. 26804/57. Class 20(4) A curtain walling comprises a series of mullions 1 made in sections and supported from a sill member or floor support and capable of a limited vertical movement in relation to adjoining sections, and a series of transoms mounted for limited horizontal movement between two mullions. The mullions or transoms are made in the form of a tube formed from channel members 2, 3 each having an external flange 4, 5 for attaching wall panels. A channel 6a (see Fig. 2) in the sill member 6 collects condensed moisture. The mullions are secured to floors by a floor bracket 22.
