Abstract

829,608. Receivers. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. March 7, 1958 [April 6, 1957], No. 7473/58. Class 40 (4). An electro-acoustic receiver has two diaphragms 9, 10 of magnetic material. The outer diaphragm 10 is perforated and has a higher natural resonance frequency than the main diaphragm 9. The magnetic circuit comprises a permanent magnet 2 and poleshoes 3, 4. The speech coils 5 and 7 are wound on spools with semi-circular end-pieces 6 and 8. Between the end-pieces 6, 8 is a hole covered with silk 68. The holes in the diaphragm 10 may also be covered with silk. The air behind the diaphragm 9 constitutes a damping medium.
