Abstract
818,721. Combined radiators and air convectors for heating buildings. PERSSON, E. S. Sept. 18, 1956 [Sept. 19, 1955], No. 28535/56. Classes 64(2) and 64(3) A sinusoidal heating pipe 10 has a vertically corrugated metal sheet 1 secured to it by two bars each having a partcylindrical portion 16, Fig. 3, or two such portions 22, Fig. 6, for engaging the pipe 10 and a flanged portion 14 which fits into slots 18 in the corrugation crests nearer the pipe. The slots 18 are aligned in rows forming a discontinuous groove transverse to the direction of the corrugations and are undercut to hold the flanges 14. The radiator is mounted together with a window 26 in a frame. Part of the portion 16 may be cut away to allow a bar to extend past a curved end portion of the pipe 10 to the full width of the corrugated sheet 1.
