Abstract

817,524. Filing papers. HARE & SON Ltd., C. H. Sept. 9, 1957 [Sept. 15, 1956], No. 28268/56. Class 146(1) [Also in Group XXV] A paper file comprises an elongated sheet metal plate a suitable for riveting or otherwise attaching as through holes a<SP>1</SP> to a back board b having towards one end and along one longitudinal edge an integral upturned perforated ear a<SP>2</SP> and at the other end along the same edge an upturned integral hook member a<SP>3</SP> pteferably facing outwardly, and a wire fastening frame c hooked at c<SP>1</SP> through a perforated ear a<SP>2</SP> and with a downwardly cranked U-shaped centre part c<SP>2</SP>, c c', which may bear upon the plate a to clamp papers d, and a terminal portion c' to be brought beneath the upturned hook a<SP>3</SP>. Between the ear a<SP>2</SP> and hook a<SP>3</SP>, an upwardly directed flange a<SP>4</SP> is provided for treating the edges of the papers d. The terminal portion c' may be cranked slightly upwardly and has t turned over holding part c<SP>5</SP>.
