Abstract
1,174,006. Filing papers. P. S. LEVESLEY. 12 Aug., 1968 [12 May, 1967], No. 22138/67. Heading B6E. An adapter for permitting catalogues, magazines and like publications to be retained in a temporary binder of the kind having rings, prongs or like means adapted to engage perforations in a document to be bound, comprises a closed or closable loop for engaging the fold of the publication, and a member attached to or integral with the loop and formed with eyes adapted to pass over the rings, prongs or like engaging means of the binder. The adapter comprises a loop 5 formed of wire, which may be closed (Fig. 1, not shown) or closable by means of a releasable fastening 12, eyes 6 being fixed to the wire as shown or formed by twisting the wire (Fig. 1). In a modification, at least one closed wire loop is hingeably attached to a perforated plate (Fig. 3, not shown).
