Class 146(1) A loose leaf binder for documents, pamphlets 4 ... 4<SP>111</SP> or the like comprises covers 1, 2 joined by a spine 3 and straps or bands 5, 5<SP>1</SP> of suitable deformable material adapted to be permanently secured inside the covers at one end a and have their other end b, b<SP>1</SP> free and formed with a set of relatively close-spaced projection means or holes 6,6<SP>1</SP> to co-operate with securing means 7, 7<SP>1</SP> and 8. As shown, the securing means comprises tubular members 7, 7<SP>1</SP> secured to the cover 2 which engage through appropriate holes 6,6<SP>1</SP> and are secured by a spindle 8, having a bent portion 9 for operation. Pins 10, 10<SP>1</SP> are used to secure the documents 4 to the straps 5, 5<SP>1</SP> and each pin has a loop for the strap and an extension 11 to pass between the folds of the documents 4. The tubular members may be replaced by hooks or hooks may be provided on the straps 5, 5<SP>1</SP> and anchoring catches on the cover 2.
