A loose-leaf binder comprises sheet retaining clips each formed in two parts, the rear part 2 being part-ring shaped while the front part 3 extends perpendicularly to the covers with its upper end 6 bent towards the spine 1. The parts 3, 6 are bent to form an acute angle so that the junction 7 lies below the top of the clip and so does not abut the cover 5.
