Abstract

1,020,465. Filing papers. W. LENNARTZ. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 25, 1963; March 26, 1964], No.30821/64. Heading B6E. A temporary file for documents comprises back and front covers 4, 4A made of synthetic plastics material, and a guide 5 and a channel member 6 secured to the back cover 4 to slidably receive a strip 1 having flexible tongues 1A thereon for the attachment of perforated documents. The documents are further retained by a clamping strip 2 fitted over the tongues 1A. As shown, the guide 5 is a turned-over portion of the back 4, and the front 4A is welded on the guide. At least one projection 7 on the underside of the guide 5 can engage in a hole 3 in the strip 1 to locate it, and a finger portion 11 (Fig. 5, not shown) in the guide 5 may be provided to assist detachment of the projection 7 when the strip 1 is to be removed. In another form (Fig. 4, not shown), the guide 5 is integral with the channel 6 and secured to the back cover 4, which is integral with the front cover 4A.
