Abstract
1,151,282. Filing documents. W. LENNARTZ. 12 Jan., 1967 [12 Jan., 1966 (3)], No. 1770/67. Heading B6E. A file made of sheet plastic material to accommodate both punched and unpunched papers comprises, a base sheet 1 with a fold strip 4 which forms the back fold 3 and which is used as a carrier of an alignment band for punched papers above the fold, a cover sheet 2 also attached to the fold strip 4, an insert sheet 10 which together with the base sheet 1 forms a document file which is closed on two sides, viz. by the fold strip 4 and a closed edge 18. The closed edge may be welded as shown or the base sheet 1 may have a turned-up transverse edge (6), Fig. 1, not shown. A small cut-out 19 prevents tearing and may be enlarged to form an index arrangement. The insert sheet 10 may be welded direct to the underside of the fold strip 4 (Fig. 4) or folded to follow the strip 4 as shown in Fig. 7, and it may extend only partly over the base sheet (Fig. 5).
