Abstract

985,846. Filing papers. E. MIYAMOTO. April 17, 1963 [April 17, 1962], No. 15113/63. Heading B6E. A suspension folder comprises two covers 1, one of the covers being formed from plastics material or plastics-coated material, e.g. paper, at least one of said covers being transparent, a bottom strip 2 of flexible plastics material bonded to the lower edges of the covers and suspension means 4 at the upper corners of the covers. As shown in Fig. 2, both covers are transparent and a third sheet 7 of transparent plastics material is secured to the front face of a cover 1 along its upper and lower edges to form an open-ended pocket for an index card 9. Metal rods shaped at their ends to form hooks 4 are secured to the covers by folded-over flaps 1a, heat sealed at points 5 to their respective covers. An open-topped pocket may be formed on the inside of a cover to receive a memorandum pad. The covers and bottom piece may be provided with a central slot extending at right angles to the lower edges of the covers, whereby the folder is fitted over rails 19 extending from the front to the back of a tray 18. The rails divide the folder into two compartments.
