Abstract

1,201,478. Card holders. H. C. RIDING. 6 Feb., 1969 [7 Nov., 1967], No. 50469/67. Heading A4G. [Also in Division B6] A filing folder (see Division B6) or a card holder, having a pair of covers 1, 2, Fig. 3, which when juxtaposed are operable about either of the longitudinal marginal edges 3, 5 or 4, 6, is made from a blank in which the covers 1, 2, Fig. 1, having respective first marginal edges 3, 5 and second marginal edges 4, 6, are connected by first means 7 extending between the first and second marginal edges 5, 4 of the respective covers 1, 2 and by a second means 8 extending perpendicularly from the second marginal edge 6 of the cover 2. The blank is formed into a filing folder or card holder by folding the cover 1 under the connecting means 7, then folding the connecting means 8 over the cover 2 and finally attaching the free ends of the connecting means to the under surface of the cover 1. The folder or holder may be made from sheet metal and the connecting means 7, 8 associated with hinges.
