Abstract

1,168,498. Filing papers. TWINLOCK Ltd. 6 Aug., 1968 [31 Aug., 1967], No. 39986/67. Heading B6E. A loose leaf binder is adapted to form a carrying case in its closed condition (Fig. 1, not shown), by the provision of two covers 2, 3 joined by a spine 1 and a panel 6 joined to the cover 3 and having a flap 7 attached thereto, the arrangement being such that when the binder is closed by folding, the flap 7 overlaps the cover 2 and may be fastened thereto by a press-stud fastener 8, 9. A binding mechanism 4 is fixed to the cover 3 adjacent the panel 6, and a similar binding mechanism may be fixed to the cover 2. Side walls 11, 13 may be joined to the covers 3, 2 respectively, the side walls 11 being provided with tongues 12 which are engageable in recesses 14 formed in the side walls 13 to form side walls of the carrying case in its closed condition. A handle (16, Fig. 1) is attached to the panel 6.
