Abstract

A welding filler rod for the welding of high conductivity copper in the presence of an inert gas as in argon-arc welding processes consists of 0.02 to 0.1 per cent by weight of boron the balance being copper and unavoidable impurities. The Provisional Specification also describes a copper-base alloy having a content of boron ranging from 0.02 to 0.2 per cent.
