Abstract

807,539. Cartons : packages. BRAMHILL, P. W. March 11, 1957, No. 7924/57. Classes 18 and 94(1). A cigarette carton has a two ply partition, each ply carrying on its lower edge tooth-like projections 25 which locate the cigarettes resiliently. The partition is formed from a single blank folded to produce end panels 18, 20, 21, 23 for attachment to the inner walls 57 of the carton shell. Each ply has hinged to it a closure flap 32, 37 held in closing position by light adhesive connection with the carton sides 50, 51. The closure flaps may be torn off, if desired, along weakened hinge lines 31, 36.
