Abstract

Niobium-base alloys for high temperature uses, e.g. as gas turbine parts, in high temperature reactors, oil refining equipment, and dies for the high temperature working of metals have compositions within the following range in per cent by weight. Nb 50.0 or more; Ti 5.0-30.0; Cr 1.0-30.0 and 0.2-7.0 in total of one or more of the following: Al; C up to 2.0; Co up to 2.0; Fe; Mn; Mo; Ni up to 2.0; Si up to 2.0; Ta; W; V; Zr.
