Abstract
An alloy for high temperature use has a composition within the following range, in which the proportions are atomic percentages. Ni 25-35, Co 35-40, Cr 20-25, Ti 4-7, C 0.5-1.5, one or more of W, Mo, Nb, Ta 1.0-3.5, Fe the balance if any, O and N, present as impurities, should not exceed 0.002 and 0.0005 per cent by weight respectively. In a preferred heat treatment the alloy is solution treated at 2150 DEG F. and aged at 1650 DEG F. Specification 510,154 is referred to.
