Abstract
Alloys for use at high temperatures have compositions within the following range in per cent by weight:- .Nb.at least 50,0 .W.10,0-30,0 .Ti.1,0-15,0 With or without one or more of Cr, Ta, V, Zr up to 20,0 in total and up to 10,0 each, with or without one or more of Al, Co, Fe, Mu, Mo, Ni up to 10,0 in total and up to 5,0 each, and with or without one or more of Be, C, Cl, Si up to 5,0 in total and up to 2,0 each. Use for the alloys are in turbines, dies for high temperature working of metals, chemical reactors and oil refining equipment.
