Abstract

802,236. Pneumatic conveyers; screw conveyers. STAMICARBON N.V. July 11, 1957 [July 11, 1956],No. 22038/57. Class 78 (1). Moist finely-divided solid material is conveyed from a chamber 1 at the bottom of a hopper 2 through a cylindrical passage 5 and chamber 8 to a conduit 10 by a ribbon conveyer 4 and a screw conveyer 5a. The pressure of the material in the passage 5 opens a valve 6 which is loaded by a weight 7a. The chamber 8 is of inverted drop shape and has a small outlet 9.
