Classes 120(2) and 120(3) The exhaust air from a thread suction system is filtered and directed at the main driving motor of a spinning or like machine to cool the motor and keep is clean. The duct 10, with which the thread suction nozzles 9 are connected, communicates with a filter box 11, and a fan 16 delivers the suction air downwards on to a motor 8. The exhaust duct 18 may be attached to the end plate of the motor 8 so as to blow axially through it.
