Class 126 [Also in Groups X and XIII] A space heater burning liquid or gaseous fuel has a combustion chamber 1 through which an open-ended tube 6 extends from the top to bottom, and into which a burner 10 feeds hot gases tangentially. Sheet metal heat screen 7, 8 are provided to protect the floor and fuel tank 2 from heat from the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber and fuel tank are supported by a framework comprising upper and lower frames 3, 4, struts 9, and feet 12 curved on the bottom so that a number of heaters can be stacked one on another. The struts have brackets 22, 24 to support dismantled flue sections 20, 21. Longer dismantled flue sections are accommodated in the air tube 6. In use, one end of the assembled flue fits in an annular gap between the two walls of a double-walled outlet from the combustion chamber. The flue pipes may be slightly conical so that one can be fitted into another. Supports 26 for a cooking utensil are provided.
