Abstract
786,707. Transformers and inductors. WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL CO. March 20, 1956 [March 25, 1955], No. 8649/56. Class 38 (2). A wound laminated core of an inductive apparatus, e.g. a transformer, is formed in two sections 11, 12 and bonding material is applied to the ends 14 only of the section 11 so that on fitting the two sections together, using a strip 17, the section 11 may be distorted as at 16 by relative movement of the laminations so as to ensure a low-loss joint.
