Abstract

785,455. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. July 21, 1955 [Aug. 20, 1954], No. 24312/54. Class 40 (6). In an arrangement in which a photo-cell P, feeds into a load resistance R2 shunted with the capacity C2, of an interconnecting cable, the resulting loss in the higher frequencies is compensated in the following two-stage R.C. coupled amplifier by means of positive feedback. The feed-back network comprises series resistance R1 and capacity C1 connected between a tap on the load resistance R3 of the second valve and the grid of the first stage.
